Our Wines

A precious and limited production allows the company Tenute Moganazzi to maintain that care and that artisanal attitude that make the difference between Sicilian wines. Wines of Etna that draw the best from their land: the wisdom of tradition, the unique and rich taste of a volcanic soil, evocative of landscapes and sensations.
The Red
Color: Intense ruby red with grenade shades
Smell: Delicate, with shades of vanilla, wild spices and red fruit
Taste: Warm, fruity, harmonious, of considerable persistence to taste
Alcohol: 14% vol.
Total acidity: 5,6 (g/l tartaric acid)
Grapes of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio from vines of 80 years of average age, cultivated 650 s.l.m. on basaltic soil rich in silica and minerals.
After the harvest by hand, the grapes are pled and placed for a few weeks to ferment with their yeasts in stainless steel containers. Later, the peels are released and pressed; Finally, the wine refines in oak barrels French before being bottled.
Service temperature: 18°-20° C
Serve in a large glass 

For a better tasting, let the wine breathe for 15-30 minutes before serving.
Recommended combinations: Red meats, cheeses
The White
Color: Straw yellow lit
Smell: Rich, with hints of white and tropical fruit, and balsamic herbs
Taste: Fresh, mineral, harmonic, almond persistence
Total acidity: 6,0 (g/l tartaric acid)
Carricante grapes, with small percentages of Cataratto, from vines of 80 years of average age, cultivated 650 above the sea level on basaltic soil rich in silica and minerals.
After harvesting by hand, the grapes are pressed softly. After that, the must is left to ferment in steel tanks and still in the steel refines for about eight months before being bottled.
Service temperature: 8°-10° C
Serve in a medium-opening glass for a better concentration of perfumes towards the nose.
Ideal to drink freshly uncorked.
Recommended combinations: Fish, white meat, first courses. Great for aperitif.
